Traverse the dramatic Sharp Edge ridge — a knife-edge of Skiddaw slate carved by glaciers over millennia
Key challenge: “Bad Step” section (exposed and slippery when wet) where careful footing and head are needed
High points with sweeping views of Derwentwater, Skiddaw, Borrowdale and beyond
Geological features, wild flora/fauna, plus local folklore and tales told by your guide

10:30 AM – 12:30 PM – Sharp Edge ridge traverse, including the Bad Step
12:30 PM – Summit of Blencathera & break / photo stop
01:30 PM – 03:30 PM – Descent via safer route, return to base
