FAQs
Do I need prior scrambling experience?
Yes — you should have done at least one Grade 1 scramble, or be very comfortable with exposed rocky terrain. you could always do our very popular Intro To Scrambling first.
Is Tryfan dangerous?
There is exposure and rock steps — but with our guide, small group size, and cautious pace, you are fully supported. Safety is paramount.
What if weather turns bad?
We monitor conditions closely. If weather or safety make the North Ridge inadvisable, we may switch to an alternative route of similar experience.
Is transport / meeting point included?
Meeting point details will be emailed. Transport is not included unless stipulated. Please ask if you need help.
