Climbing Scafell Pike is no stroll in the park – it’s a real mountain adventure! But with our guides leading the way, it’s an achievable challenge that rewards you with breathtaking views and an unbeatable sense of achievement.
Expect around 6–8 hours of adventure, depending on the route, weather, and group pace. Every step brings you closer to standing on the highest point in England!
From Wasdale’s steep, dramatic climb to Borrowdale’s classic mountain path and Langdale’s stunning long approach – each route has its own magic. Your guide will choose the best way up for the day’s conditions.
Think adventure kit: sturdy boots, waterproofs, warm layers, plenty of food, and at least 2L of water. We’ll send you a kit list so you’re ready for the mountain.
Absolutely – adventurous youngsters (around 10+) are welcome if they’re used to long walks. It’s a brilliant family challenge!
That’s the Lake District! Our guides are mountain experts and will adapt the plan or reschedule if it’s unsafe – but often a bit of wind and cloud just adds to the adventure.
